Fairlie Harmar (1876-1945) was born in Weymouth, Dorset, and studied at the Slade School of Fine Art. On her marriage to Ernest Arthur George Pomeroy, 7th Viscount Harberton, she became Viscountess Harberton.
She painted landscape and figurative subjects including a number of views of Cheyne Walk and the Thames Embankment at Chelsea. She exhibited at the Royal Academy, New English Art Club, and Royal Society of British Artists. She became a member of the New English Art Club in 1917.
