Eduard Veith (1858-1925) was an Austrian landscape, genre and portrait painter. From 1890 he was a member of the Viennese Künstlerhaus, later he also taught at the Kunstgewerbeschule of the Austrian Museum of Art and Industry and was appointed a full professor in 1920. Veith's work, predominantly in Neo-classic style, follows the symbolist tradition of Hans Makart and Anselm Feuerbach.
